My new life as an Editor-in-Chief

I am distressed and somewhat guilty that I have neither uploaded or contributed to my site for many months. For those whose e-mails have burned a hole in my desk – my apologies.

There is a reason. A reason that is both daunting and exciting in equal measure. I am about to publish an independent and investigative Food and Wine magazine. Independent because it will carry no advertising or product enhancement. Investigative as it will provide robust prose -lacking in so many ‘Food’ magazines – all coupled with in-depth interviews.

The magazine will be available by subscription only and will be published this Winter.

I am not alone in this venture. Much of the food commentary will be provided by David Adlard, a former Michelin starred chef and winner of the Glenfiddich food writing award.

Together we intend to cover all that is glorious and authentic in the world of food, wine, spirits and cider.

The magazine is called – In Search of Taste – with a strap line explaining the magazine will conduct a “Quest for food and wine authenticity”
